Darrell Troast, D.O. |
Dr.
Troast had been practicing pediatrics in Lee County since 1987, when he
moved here with his family from New Jersey. His wife, Nancy, practices Internal Medicine. They have five wonderful daughters. Dr. Troast is a softball coach
and he enjoys reading, golf and working in his yard. (Read more)

Marty McKenna, M.D. |
Dr. McKenna moved to
Fort Myers from Virginia in 1994. He and his wife Ginny have five children,
four sons and a daughter. His undergraduate degree is in Psychology, which
explains why he is such a good listener. Someday, he hopes to write a book on

Jose Padilla, M.D. |
Dr.
Padilla came to us from Puerto Rico, where he was director of a
community health center in a rural area while working with the National Health
Service Corps. He was also a Lt. Commander in the U. S. Navy Reserves. He is
fluent in both English and Spanish. He moved to Fort Myers in 1991 and joined
Island Coast Pediatrics in 1995. He and his wife Solangel have one son. He is

Thomas Seitz, M.D. |
Dr. Seitz is a native Floridian. He
grew up in Fort Lauderdale and received his training from the University of
Florida. He has been practicing pediatrics in Lee County since 1987. He and his
wife Maggie have three sons and a daughter. His hobbies include woodworking,
camping, and messing around with computers and electronics. He likes fixing

Wilfred Lee, M.D. |
Dr. Lee is a native of the
Philippines. He completed his Pediatric Residency at the University of Florida
Health Science Center in Jacksonville, and spent several years in practice in
West Palm Beach. He joined Island Coast Pediatrics in the Summer 2002. He and
his wife Marcia, who is also a pediatrician with our group, have three
children. He is a gourmet cook, a computer wizard and THE WEBMASTER.

Teresa Stevens, M.D. |
Dr.
Stevens returned home to Fort Myers after training at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and Albany Medical College in New York and at Children's Hospital in Washington DC. She spent seven years in a clinical teaching position at George Washington University. Her husband Douglas is an ENT and Facial Plastic surgeon. They have three wonderful daughters, and enjoy boating and traveling. (Read

Marcia Antigua-Lee, M.D.

Dr. Antigua-Lee joined Island Coast
Pediatrics with her husband Wilfred in 2002. She is a full time mom and a part
time pediatrician. The Lee's met in medical school, and married
during their residency in Jacksonville, where she stayed an additional year as
Chief Resident. In her spare time she enjoys movies, reading, dining out and
her husband’s wonderful cooking.

Nicole Michele Bruno, D.O.

Dr. Nicole Michele Bruno is a
native of New York. She completed her residency at State University of New York at Stony Brrok. Before joining Island Coast Pediatrics, she has practiced at Cooperstown, NY. She and her husband are proud parents of two children. Just recently moved to our much warmer Florida, she and her family are still adjusting at the idea of wearing summer shorts in the middle of the winter season..

Vincent Munizza, P.A. |
A New Jersey native, Vince trained at the City University of New York, and he
has a Master’s Degree from the University of Hartford in Connecticut. He
worked with the Mount Sinai Hospital Children’s Heart Center in New York
City, before joining Island Coast Pediatrics in 1991. He and his wife, Lisa,
have three daughters. He enjoys running, and has completed the Disney Marathon
several times.

Terry Warren, P.A. |
Terry is a native
Floridian who completed the Physicians Assistant program at the University of
Florida. She joined Island Coast Pediatrics in 1997. She lives in Naples and
works mainly in our Estero Office. She and her husband, Robert, have two sons.
Terry enjoys sports, watching her kids race Go-Karts and photography. (Read

Betty Scanlon, ARNP |
Betty is a native of New
York, and received her BSN from the State University of New York at Utica/Rome.
She joined the Air Force in 1983 and was stationed in Florida, New York,
Nevada, Arizona, Okinawa and Germany. Retiring from the military in 1999, she
continues her career caring for children at Island Coast Pediatrics. In her
spare time she enjoys and teaches Tai Chi.

What is a D.O.?
A pediatrician is either a D.O. or M.D., who has
completed a three-year specialty training program in the care of infants,
children, and adolescents. A Doctor of Osteopathy, (D.O.) has additional
training in the manipulation of the musculoskeletal system.
What is a Physician
Assistant?
A Physician Assistant is a
licensed health care professional qualified by academic and practical training
to provide patient services under the supervision and direction of a physician.
The Physician Assistant works together with the physician and other health care
providers to provide comprehensive care to both well and ill children and their
families. The Physician Assistant educates children and families to promote
health and wellness, prevent disease, maintain current health, and intervene in
acute or chronic illness.
What is a Pediatric Nurse
Practitioner?
A Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
is a Registered Nurse who has advanced education and clinical training in
Pediatrics. The Nurse Practitioner works together with the physician and other
health care providers to provide comprehensive care to both well and ill
children and their families. The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner educates children
and families to promote health and wellness, prevent disease, maintain current
health, and intervene in acute or chronic illness.
Our P.A.'s (Physician
Assistants), and A.R.N.P.'s (Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners) can see
your child, make preliminary diagnoses and prescribe any necessary medications.
All of our extended providers are highly trained and can care for your child
under the supervision of a physician, who reviews their work daily. In
addition, our physicians and extended providers are also assisted by: RN's,
LPN's, MA's and other professional staff members.
Our Staff
Our Pediatricians,
Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners are assisted by: R.N.’s,
L.P.N.’s, M.A.’s and other highly skilled professional and caring
staff members. Our employees are dedicated to make a difference in improving
the lives of children. They are a group of hard working and compassionate
individuals committed to serving you and your family in any way possible.
We also employ department
managers for areas including; clinical, administrative and billing staff as
well. Should a problem or issue arise, please do not hesitate to contact any of
our managers directly. Each of our separate patient offices employ an office
supervisor to address on-site questions or problems that may arise during your
visit with us. All of our staff and management team are here to help you in any
way we can.
